Our Theme: Putting Faith into Action
Hebrews 11:6 - New International Version (NIV)
6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
To build the Kingdom by doing all things to
the glory of God.
Proclaim the gospel message throughout the world.
Help non-believers understand their need to accept
Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Use all of our God-given resources for the development of Christian disciples. Establish and maintain a culture in which believers will grow spiritually and do all things with excellence to the glorify of God.
Our Core Values include:
Prayer, Evangelism, Discipleship, Worship, Stewardship, & Excellence
We are instructed in Luke 18:1 that men ought to always pray and not faint.
We are instructed in Matthew 28:19 to “go”…conveying the message of Jesus Christ goes beyond the four walls of the church building and extends to our homes, jobs, schools, organizations/social groups, and into the world.
Tell your story about how Jesus Christ has changed your life.
Pray for courage, stay alert, keep it simple, and look for opportunities to share Christ
We are instructed in Matthew 28:19 to “make disciples”
Strong discipleship is not just about giving information but initiating transformation and equipping others to make other disciples and effectively serve in the Kingdom.
Components: Preaching, Teaching, and Workshops; Children & Youth ministry, Men's & Women's Small Groups and other forms of Christian Education.
Forming authentic relationships
John 4:24 tells us that those who worship God must do so in spirit and in truth
Create and maintain a spiritual synergy through developing a personal lifestyle of worship.
Remain open to and in constant alignment with the Holy Spirit
Malachi 3:10 & 2 Corinthians 9:6 instructs believers to regularly contribute their tithes and offerings and to give cheerfully and sacrificially.
The model is simply using our Time, Talent, and Treasure for the work of the Kingdom.
It’s ALL for God’s glory - 1 Corinthians 10:31
Create and maintain a standard of excellence through teamwork, starting services and events on time, biblical and practical preaching, authentic worship, the appearance and maintenance of the facility, our interactions with each other and visitors etc.
Doing ministry in excellence is not “self-serving” nor is it a matter of being “showy” but services and events that are ill-timed, lack organization and a representation of the other core values will be postponed or canceled. What we serve and how we serve it matters.
